Kalamar Beach Club is a 5 minute walk from the villa (they also offer free
Transport). Here there are wooden platforms built over the sea where you can
swim in the lovely clear water, hire a boat and explore the coastline or just relax on the comfortable loungers (for a very small fee) and enjoy being spoilt by the friendly and helpful waiters. Pedaloes and canoes are free and jet skis can be hired. There is also an excellent diving school here. There is a lovely restaurant serving snacks and local and International dishes - it is also open in the evenings.

Kalube Hotel is a 3 minute walk below us and here you can use the sunbeds
free of charge and swim in the sea. This is a lovely small hotel and we love having breakfast there for a treat and going to their Turkish evenings on a Wednesday where they have an excellent belly dancer, a super barbeque
buffet and dancing.

Kalkan beach is about a 30 minute walk or a 5 minute drive for £2 - £3 each
way by taxi. A water taxi runs during the day or you can hire a small boat
from Kalamar Beach Club and sail there yourselves.

Patara Beach which has 18km of long sandy beach and was voted the best
beach in the world recently by the Sunday Times is 12kms, away by car.
This beach also has some very interesting old Lycian ruins and a pretty local village nearby with simple but good restaurants serving mainly local food.

Kaputus Beach is a 10 minute drive away towards Kas and its beautiful
Turquose waters are situated at the foot of a stunning ravine. Sunbeds and
umbrellas can be hired but there are hundreds of steep steps down to the
beach making it unsuitable for people with walking difficulties.

There are many other beach clubs to try around the coast near Kalkan.
